Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 23, 2026

Welcome to Laptop Buyers Club. We test laptops. We write about them. You read our findings. Here are the ground rules for using our site.

We spend our days benchmarking GPUs, testing thermal throttling, and typing on mushy keyboards so you avoid bad purchases. By accessing laptopbuyersclub.com, you agree to these terms. Read them. Understand them. Respect them. If you disagree with how we operate, close the tab and buy your hardware blindly.

What We Do and What We Do Not Do

We publish buying guides, reviews, and industry analysis. We test gaming rigs, business ultrabooks, and budget student machines. We do not sell hardware directly. We do not provide personal IT support. We do not guarantee that a specific Lenovo ThinkPad or Razer Blade will perfectly solve your unique workflow problems.

Our content is informational. It reflects our editorial judgment. We base that judgment on rigorous, real-world testing. We run Cinebench loops. We drain batteries over Wi-Fi at 200 nits brightness. We check for chassis flex. We measure fan noise.

Production runs vary. Quality control slips. A laptop we loved in our lab might arrive at your door with a dead pixel or a whining coil. That friction is between you and the manufacturer. We are not liable for your purchasing decisions. You hold the credit card. You make the final call.

Intellectual Property

We write every word on this site. We shoot our own photos. We record our own benchmark data. This content belongs entirely to Laptop Buyers Club. It is protected by copyright law.

You cannot scrape our site. You cannot copy our buying guides and paste them on your own tech blog. You cannot steal our thermal performance charts. We protect our intellectual property aggressively. We issue takedown notices for stolen content weekly.

If you want to quote our findings, do it fairly. Use a short excerpt. Link back to the original article. Give proper credit. Do not pass our hard work off as your own.

Affiliate Disclosure and Revenue

Transparency matters. Running a proper testing lab costs money. Buying retail hardware to avoid manufacturer cherry-picking costs money. We fund this operation through affiliate links.

When you click a link on our site and buy a laptop from Amazon, Best Buy, or a manufacturer directly, we earn a small commission. This costs you nothing extra. It keeps our servers running and our testing independent.

Affiliate commissions never dictate our reviews.

If a laptop overheats during a Premiere Pro render, we say so. If a trackpad feels like cheap plastic, we call it out. We have trashed laptops with massive affiliate payouts. We have praised laptops with zero affiliate programs. We rejected 14 sponsored post requests last month alone. We do not accept paid reviews. Our loyalty is to you. The buyer.

Accuracy of Information

The tech industry moves fast. Prices change daily. Specifications get updated mid-cycle without warning. A manufacturer might swap a fast Samsung SSD for a slower budget drive three months after launch. We track these silent downgrades when we can. We cannot catch them all.

We work hard to keep our information accurate. We update our top picks regularly. We cannot guarantee that every price, weight, or spec listed on laptopbuyersclub.com is perfectly accurate at the exact moment you read it.

Verify specifications on the retailer page before you hit the checkout button. We are not responsible for buyer’s remorse resulting from a mid-production spec change.

User Conduct and Community Standards

We host a community of buyers and enthusiasts. We expect basic decency in our comments and forums. Do not post spam. Do not drop malicious links to fake student laptop giveaways. We see those WhatsApp scams constantly. We delete them instantly.

Do not harass other readers over their choice of operating system. Windows, macOS, ChromeOS. They all have their place. If you act like a jerk in our comments section, we will ban your IP address. No warnings. No appeals.

Limitation of Liability

You use laptopbuyersclub.com at your own risk. We provide this site on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties regarding the uninterrupted availability of our site or the absolute error-free nature of our content.

Under no circumstances shall Laptop Buyers Club, its writers, or its owners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes financial losses, data loss from a recommended machine, or lost productivity. We give advice. You take the action.

Governing Law

We operate out of the United States. These terms are governed by US law, specifically the laws of our operating state, without regard to conflict of law principles. If a legal dispute arises from your use of this site, it gets handled in our local jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

Our site evolves. The legal landscape shifts. We will update these terms when necessary. We do not send out mass emails for minor typo fixes or structural tweaks.

We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we make changes. Check back if you care about the legal fine print. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
